The Nintendo NX and PlayStation 4 are bringing consoles to the bedroom, but with a twist.
Nintendo announced today that it’s introducing a new device called the NX-shaped canoe accessory.
The NX-style accessory is designed to “add depth to your entertainment experiences by offering a true-to-life, one-of-a-kind design and performance,” the company said in a press release.
It comes with a strap, which can attach to a range of accessories, including a canoe and kayak, and is designed for use in the “front seat” of a canoe.
It’s not designed for children, but will be available in early 2018.
The PS4 Pro is another console that will get a “more expansive console experience,” but is a little bit smaller.
It will also include support for HDR10, a feature that makes the game look “faster, clearer and more detailed.”
It will be announced in September.
Both devices will be compatible with the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The console and the NX accessory will be priced at $299.99, and they’ll also be coming to Nintendo’s website in November.
“The NX-shape canoes are a perfect fit for the modern home, allowing you to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life,” said Phil Spencer, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of worldwide product management.
“In addition to the new NX-styled canoes, we’re excited to launch a new feature in Nintendo NX that makes navigation in the home more intuitive, allowing players to take a deep dive into their favorite Nintendo games without having to leave the comfort of their home.
The Nintendo Remote Plus will also come to the NX, and the Nintendo Switch will support both of these devices.”
